Garden Construction Projects.
 |
| A more secure hen house was needed....became more like Fort Knox but the girls very happy! |
 |
| A cleverly 'repurposed' wooden spoon for a gate lach! |
Several trips to the demolition yard and a 'new gate' for the side garden too.
 |
Snowy checks it out for size.
A garden shelter is erected from a combination of old timber & new timber with a base of recycled bricks. A windy path leads from the house to the garden retreat. A spot that has some cool breezes on hot days under the tree shade.
New front garden for herbs & flowers
New garden Complete & ready for filling with soil & compost. Another triumph for the resident structural engineering genius!
This bed will be the home of some flowers and herbs to cheer the entry way at the front stairs.
More trips to the demolition yard for supplies to enclose the expanded vegetable garden so we can enjoy the harvest and not have to share with the local wildlife.
|
Origional edges were supported by plastic netting & cardboard held in place by bamboo sticks but this was not strong enough to support the depth.
 |
| More substantial edges was added using recycled material from the demolition yard.(old shelving) |
Old roofing iron has been used to construct some raised garden beds.
